Tanhort is a new Tanzania-based vegetable exporting company. With offices in three countries, the founders of Tanhort wanted a simple, efficient website that showcased their most popular products as well as local upliftment initiatives in Tanzania. Working with Nick (who also runs Good Fruit Guide) it quickly became apparent that they would be maintaining the website as well as adding the content themselves. To this end, it was agreed that a content management system would need to be used which was familiar to at least one of the company founder.

One of the main challengers of the project was using an existing host. In short, the host setup was fairly antiquated and required a lot of coding alternatives as even some of the basic features of the content management system wasn’t allowed. To this day, some of the website functionality is still lacking as we wait for the host to upgrade their system.
