Prima is a JobRoller Child theme that transforms the default JobRoller style (by Appthemes) to an exquisite, professional Job Listings board with a touch of minimalism and a splash of colour. This child theme modifies just about every visual aspect of the original template, resulting in a tailored website that oozes style. In addition, it also sports the following features:
Child Theme Features
The search bar has been heavily modified with nifty jQuery tricky to allow a modern look & feel – especially the radius dropdown menu that is normally extremely difficult to style. We’ve also attached labels to help guide the user through the process by indicating what is required in each section.
Using a custom font (Kudo’s to Fontsquirrel), we’ve managed to completely revamp the style and move away from the generic system fonts like Arial and Helvetica
We’ve moved the main navigation bar to sit on top of the search bar – this allows the users to quickly browse through job types like full time, part time, temp etc.
We’ve added a new template that allows website owners to display content without a sidebar. This is most often used on pages where one wants to keep users from getting distracted (like the About Us page) and focus their attention on the content.
Similar to the existing Resume’s functionality, core details of a job is now available by hovering over dedicated icons for salary, date posted, company name and featured status. This significantly reduces clutter and allows the user to focus on what’s important.
Installation & Support
Installing it is a simple process and can be done through the WordPress admin panel. Simply click on Appearances » Themes » Add New » Upload and you’re all set. Please note that this theme has been developed to work with JobRoller version 1.5.5 and has not been tested on earlier editions.
